Meredith McKenna, NP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric medicine with the team at Manchester Pediatrics Associates. Meredith joined the team in 2015 and provides compassionate pediatric care at the practice’s South Windsor, Connecticut, office.
Dedicated to life-long learning, Meredith obtained four degrees in varying areas of medicine before finding her passion while training as a nursing student at Manchester Pediatric Associates. She earned her Bachelor of Science in veterinary medicine and her Master of Science in biomedical laboratory sciences at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. She later completed an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.
Prior to becoming an APRN in 2019, Meredith was a cardiothoracic surgical Nurse at Hartford Hospital. While attending school at Southern Connecticut State University, she completed her pediatric rotation at Manchester Pediatrics Associates and fell in love with pediatric medicine and the team. Her special interests include preventive and holistic medicine as well as cardiology.
Meredith is affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society, and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Since becoming a pediatric provider, Meredith’s favorite part of her practice is building relationships with her patients and families. Born and raised in Middletown, Connecticut, Meredith enjoys spending her free time with her closest friends and family. She especially enjoys listening to live music, tennis, golf, hiking, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Sophie.
