Insurance Participation Notice

To ensure that your visits are covered at the highest level, all patients are required to contact their insurance company directly to verify that our provider group, MPA, participates in their specific plan.

• Insurance companies have the most accurate, up-to-date information about your plan, network, and coverage.
• MPA is unable to verify participation if your insurance card is outdated, missing key details, or lists phone numbers that do not connect us to the correct plan department.
• Insurance companies often require the patient—not the provider—to request plan-specific participation information.

For these reasons, patients must confirm insurance participation directly to avoid unexpected bills or coverage issues.

Manchester Pediatric Associates No-Show and Payments Policies – Revised

Effective January 1st, 2024, Manchester Pediatric Associates has updated its policies to ensure a smooth and efficient healthcare experience for all our patients. Please take note of the following changes:

Appointment Cancellation Policy:

All patients are now required to provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice if they need to cancel their scheduled appointment. Failure to notify us within this timeframe will result in a $50 No-Show Fee being added to your account. Repeated instances of appointment no-shows may lead to dismissal from the practice.

Payments at Every Appointment:

Patients are mandated to pay their co-pay amount during each appointment when it is required. Additionally, if a patient has an existing balance, payment is required at the time of the appointment. Failure to promptly settle any outstanding balances may result in dismissal from the practice.

Payment Methods:

You can easily make payments using a card or check. For any questions, concerns, or if you wish to submit a payment for your account, please don’t hesitate to contact our specialized Billing Department at 860-647-8282 (option 2).

Important Notice About Scheduling Physicals, Well Child and Sick Visits:

If your child’s account has an unpaid balance of $500 or greater and older than 90 days, please be aware of the following:

• You will not be able to schedule any visits until your account has been reviewed and either paid in full or a payment plan has been established with our Billing Department.
• Sick visits and urgent medical needs will be referred to your nearest urgent care facility.
